We would like you to enjoy your stay at the Convention Centre Abbazia di Novacella as much as possible – and even feel like being on holiday. Given below, we present some suggestions for supporting programmes in the monastery Abbazia di Novacella.

Guided monastery tour Visitors of Novacella are offered a wealth of art historical treasures and other remarkable attractions: find out more about the over 850 years old tradition and history of the monastery while taking part in a guided tour. Enjoy the beauty of our baroque collegiate church, take a look at the numerous Gothic panel paintings, precious manuscripts and other liturgical treasures which are on show in our pinacotheca and visit the unique historical monastery library.

Guided garden tour Take part in a tour around the monastery’s gem – its historical garden. The sequoia tree towers imposingly over the rear part of the garden, with the impressive centuries-old ginkgo trees directly opposite. The pretty baroque garden with its myriad flowers and herbs and its beautiful fountain is laid out between them. The historical garden is part of a religious retreat but can nevertheless be visited on three days per week.

Guided tour around the wine estate and wine tasting Take a walk amidst the monastery’s vineyards and find out interesting facts concerning the monastery’s wine culture and South Tyrolean wines in general. Subsequently you may take part in our tutored wine tasting of two white and two red wines.
