Cemetery

The parish and canons regular graveyard is situated between the Church of St. Margaret and the collegiate church.

The extended graveyard of the parish of Novacella was consecrated by the provost of the Canons Regular Monastery of Novacella, the prelate Prof. Dr. Georg Untergassmair on Sunday 1st June 2008 on the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, attended by the dean of the monastery Theobald Innerhofer, and the priest Karl Blasbichler, as well as by a large congregation. At the same time the war memorial at the entrance to the cemetery was blessed.
