From children to adults: the Augustinian canons ventured into adult education.

    It grew and grew …

    Additions to the programme.

Modern society, with its challenges and its effects on faith: in the 1980s this was the motivation for enlarging the tourist centre with a Bible, an ecological and a computer centre.

  • 1992

    The next stage in development

A single house created from four centres.

Changing needs and a shift in social requirements led to the combination of the four original centres. A modern education and conference centre was created.

    A place for art

A long tradition revived with a new art academy.

Founding of the Art Academy of Neustift-South Tyrol in 2008/2009. It revived an old tradition, as art had been fostered and actively supported at the abbey for centuries. As is evident from any tour of Neustift.
